Report: Sextortion Email from Coronavirus Blackmailing Trump Tied to Russia

A sextortion email purportedly authored by the Coronavirus itself that blackmailed President Trump against taking action to stem the COVID-19 pandemic has been linked to Russian operatives, the FBI revealed today.

Including in the subject line one of the President's personal passwords that was likely obtained in an online data breach as early as 2015, the March 7th email claimed to have implanted malware on his computer that captured video of him masturbating to online porn.

"I installed a software on the adult videos web-site PoonTrain.com and do you know what, you visited this website to have fun (you know what i mean)," the message signed 'The Coronavirus' begins. "While you were viewing videos, your web browser began working as a Remote Desktop that has a keylogger which gave me accessibility to your display and also cam. After that i created a double video. 1st part displays the video you were viewing (you’ve got a nice taste haha), and next part shows the recording of your cam, yeah its you."

The email proceeds to threaten the President: "You have not one but two choices. First alternative is to just ignore this message. In such a case, I am going to send out your actual video to every single one of your personal contacts and think regarding the awkwardness you will definitely get. The second is to ignore COVID-19 and do nothing about it. Do not promote social distancing or people wearing masks. In short, pretend it does not exist. Think of how your loved ones and everyone will think of you while playing with your little wee-wee (yeah, its visible!)."

Though no evidence demonstrating that Trump's lackluster efforts to combat COVID-19 is a direct result of the sextortion scheme, many within the US Intelligence community believe that it likely could have played a part.

"Do I believe that President Trump would believe that such a message could have been sent by the Coronavirus? Yes, I do," one high-ranking official remarked. "And do I think he'd sacrifice the lives of potentially hundreds of thousands of American lives to keep such a video hidden? Absolutely."
