Conor McGregor Announces Plans to Fight JFK International Airport

Conor McGregor sent shockwaves through the world of ultimate fighting today when he announced that he will take on New York's JFK International Airport December 8th.

Just weeks separated from the pummeling he received at the hands of Khabib Nurmagomedov October 6th, McGregor's announcement marks the former champion's return to fighting inanimate objects after he beat up a bus in April.

"Conor believes in going big or going home, and there isn't anything much bigger than John F. Kennedy Airport," McGregor's coach John Kavanaugh commented on the upcoming rumble.

Indeed, outweighing McGregor 56,000,000,000,000 to 155 pounds and measuring over ten square miles, the expansive eight-terminal airfield contains over 150 boarding gates, 70 check-in counters, 30 security checkpoints, and more than 200 restaurants, coffee kiosks and other various eateries, including 16 Sbarros alone.

"This place is absolutely humongous. And it's mostly concrete," Kavanaugh remarked. "And Conor's undefeated record against buses notwithstanding, this place has got literally hundreds of buses and thousands of cars parked in its massive parking structures at any one time, each of which is made of extremely hard steel and glass."

For his part, McGregor predicted an easy victory despite the short turnaround from Nurmagomedov.

"I feel kind of bad with the holidays coming up and all, but I'm going to mess this airport up," he said.
