NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) –  Shortly after Donald Trump launched his candidacy for president, Macy’s decided to drop the Donald J. Trump Clothing line in protest against the Republican’s comments about Mexicans and immigrants.

But there is one problem.

Macy’s has accumulated a huge inventory of Trump’s clothing line collection which is just sitting idle in its warehouses.

Today, Macy’s announced that on Black Friday — the biggest shopping day of the year — it will give away Trump collection items to the first 1,000 customers at each of its department stores nationwide, or until supplies last.

A spokesperson for Macy’s said that it is the store’s way of thanking its loyal customers while getting rid of the boycotted items, thus freeing much-needed warehouse space.

Macy’s stores nationwide will open at 12:01 am on Friday.

Media reports say that shoppers have already begun camping out in front of Macy’s stores nationwide.
