WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) –Many Americans were so concentrated on their shock and grief that very few noticed what the Clintons were wearing during Hillary’s concession speech.  Both she and Bill wore purple (see photo.)

Purple embodies the balance of red’s (Republican) stimulation and blue’s (Democrat) calm. This dichotomy can cause unrest or uneasiness unless the undertone is clearly defined, at which point the purple takes on the characteristics of its undertone.

In many countries, the color purple represents mourning.

It was a subliminal message for what we are seeing now in the streets and on social media. Mourning and unrest.
