9 Year-Old Boy Castrates Self in Bid to Emulate Caitlyn Jenner

A 9 year-old Decatur, Georgia boy castrated himself yesterday, bringing the number of Caitlyn Jenner-related mutilations by children up to 15 since the former Olympian underwent his own sex reassignment surgery last month.

The boy, whose name is being withheld by the press until he chooses a new one, was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital and transitioned into a female after he hacked his penis off with a steak knife, his mother reported.

"I was doing some laundry when he walked in wearing one of his sister's dresses, holding a knife in one hand and his penis in the other," she said. "He said he was a pretty lady."

Though technically no longer male, doctors say the boy still has a long road ahead of him.

"He'll have to undergo an extensive regimen of hormone treatments, as well as several cosmetic surgeries in order to diminish his more masculine features, such as his pronounced Adam's apple," Dr. Stephen Marshfield remarked.

The boy's father, who confessed to feelings of ambivalence regarding his new daughter, criticized the "liberal media".

"For those who claim Mr. Jenner's sex change doesn't affect anyone, this proves otherwise," he said. "Children will always imitate anything every adult does."
